At the Furnishing and Design Istanbul (FDI) 2025 fair, Marwood inspired visitors with a forward-thinking vision and exciting new products designed for interaction and collaboration, shaping the future of work in response to today’s changing needs.
Today’s hybrid work models are turning offices from quiet places for solo tasks into vibrant hubs for teamwork and creativity. At Marwood, we are at the forefront of this change, redefining what furniture can do. Our booth at FDI 2025 brought this philosophy to life, proving that furniture is more than just an object. It’s a tool that connects people and helps teams succeed.
Stars of the Fair: Newly Launched Collections
The highlight of our booth was our new product lineup, introduced to the design world for the first time.
Breaking Boundaries with Bridge: A major highlight was the launch of our versatile new furniture system, Bridge. Designed to transform social and collaborative spaces, its modular design allows for endless configurations. Bridge challenges traditional furniture, adapting easily to any environment, from foyers and campuses to workshops, to create flexible and informal areas.
Turkish Premieres: Alongside Bridge, our new additions, Glory, Origo, Jun, and Luma, made their Turkish debut and were very well-received. The Glory task chair puts user well-being at the forefront with a design that is both comfortable and elegant. Meanwhile, designs like Origo, Jun, and Luma offered flexible, stylish solutions that bring life to common areas.
Another popular feature was our gamified material experience. We presented our updated material palette on a turning wheel, making the process of choosing colors and textures fun and interactive.
More Than Just Products: Shaping the Industry
Marwood’s presence at FDI 2025 was about more than just showcasing new products. We also took on important projects to add value to the industry, invest in the future, and strengthen the design community.
As the Main Furniture Sponsor of the Fair, we furnished the stage and lounge areas of FDI 2025 with Marwood products. This allowed us to share our design philosophy across the entire venue, giving thousands of visitors the chance to experience Marwood’s comfort and style firsthand. For us, it was a great opportunity to bring our vision of encouraging interaction to every corner of the fair.
With our mission to support the designers of the future, we strengthened the connection between industry and academia in a meaningful way. By providing mentorship and manufacturing a full-scale prototype of a design student’s graduation project, we helped bring a young talent’s dream to life. The project, displayed at the fair’s entrance, was a clear sign of Marwood’s belief in young people and the future of design.
We were also proud to support the strength of Turkish design and the furniture sector. Our products were featured in the “Design Circle” selection, themed “The Choreography of Sitting,” and in the “Heartmade by MOSFED” project, which aims to boost Turkish furniture exports.
For Marwood, FDI 2025 was more than just a fair; it was a platform to share our vision for future workspaces, our design philosophy, and our commitment to the industry. The positive feedback from visitors and the great partnerships we formed showed us we are on the right path. We will continue to create human-centered designs that bring people together.
